With Bella Misty Fishing Charters, you will fish for wild Pacific salmon (King, Silver, Pink, and Chum), as well as halibut, Pacific cod, red snapper, and rockfish aboard the 33-foot 'West Cape.' This boat is new for 2010 and features the newest safety and navigational equipment. To ensure a comfortable and productive trip, the 'West Cape' also features a heated cabin and private bathroom. Captain Clayton Moore is a registered fishing guide with the Alaska Department of Fish and Game and is licensed by the United States Coast Guard.

Trips aboard the 'West Cape' are designed to create a truly memorable excursion, and the crew will adjust to fit the needs of your group. If you are arriving in Ketchikan by cruise ship, Captain Moore will meet you as you disembark the ship, so no need to worry about transportation. All fishing gear, tackle, and bait will be waiting for you. Rain gear is also provided. Snacks and beverages are included for half-day trips, and a light lunch will be provided for full-day trips. There is no additional charge for food and beverages.

No fishing experience? No problem. The crew of the 'West Cape' will teach you everything you need to know to haul in a great catch. Or, if you prefer, Captain Moore and his crew will do all the baiting and rigging; all you have to do is reel in your prize. Once your catch is on board, the crew will arrange for processing of the fish.

Rates begin at $600 for a four-hour Pacific salmon fishing trip, up to four anglers. Six- and ten-hour excursions are also offered. If your group would like to add Dungeness crabbing to the trip, this can be accommodated for an additional $20 per angler.
