Located in Costa Rica’s Herradura Bay area, Captain Tom's has for nearly sixteen years put fishing enthusiasts in the water. Currently, Captain Tom holds the world record for catching the largest sailfish at 229 pounds and his boat, the Estrella Del Mar” holds many IGFA records as well.

Sixteen years ago Captain Tom started the very first charter fishing service in the Jaco Beach, Herradura Bay area. Since then he has extensively fished the warm waters of Costa Rica ‘s Pacific coast and is considered to be one of the top big game fishing captains and has one of the most successful charter services in Costa Rica.
