Our great weather, calm sea, and large catch are the perfect recipe for the fishing trip of your dreams. Our boat is a 40’ Bertram Sport Fisherman, “The Pamela”. Fully equipped with Twin 671 Detroit Diesel 450 Horsepower, turbocharged, and Marine engines.

About Us

Captian Peter Hooghs is a Kona legacy, and is highly respected among his pier and clients. Captain Peter Hooghs is one of the pioneers of the Kona big game fishery, he has been participating in the prestigious Hawaiian International Billfish tournaments since 1958. He was born and raised in Hawaii, and has been running charters as a professional license captain for over 30 years. He’s record accomplishments includes multiple tournaments wins and places. He has all the experience and knowledge you can only dream for when booking a professional charter captain!
