Northern Oregon Coast

Tuna, halibut, rockfish and lingcod are also common catches along the northern shores of Oregon. Seaside, Manzanita, Cannon Beach, and the world famous Tillamook Bay, known for its massive numbers of big King Salmon, are also great locations for some seriously great fishing. Central Oregon Coast

Anglers will thrill to the prospect of battling giant tuna, or pulling a 50+ pound halibut up from the deep. Salmon are found in abundance in this region as well. Chinook, Coho, and King Salmon inhabit Central Oregon’s Coast in massive numbers during the spring and fall months. Rockfish and lingcod are also common catches. Towns like Depoe Bay, Newport, Florence and Yachats boast the picturesque, friendly charm of the Pacific Northwest. Southern Oregon Coast

From North Bend and Coos Bay to Gold Beach and Brookings, the southern coast of Oregon abounds with great fishing opportunities. The many rivers that open into the ocean in this area attract massive runs of Chinook, Coho, and Silver salmon in the spring and summer months. Lingcod, black snapper, albacore and halibut are popular catches offshore along the reef and rock systems.
