Offshore deep water fishing off Palm Beach is possibly best known for sailfish.  Other deep water species caught off Palm Beach include dolphin (mahi-mahi), wahoo, kingfish, bonito, amberjack, blackfin and yellowfin tuna, swordfish, and marlin. Reefs and wrecks are great spots for catching grouper, amberjack, snapper and cobia.  Inshore fishing in Palm Beach’s protected inlets and beaches is unbeatable for many species including: tarpon, snook, bluefish, Spanish mackerel, jack Crevalle, ladyfish, permit and pompano.

The Palm Beach area has a lovely tropical climate with warm temperatures and sunny skies year round.  High temperatures range from the mid 70’s in winter to the high 80’s to 90 degrees in summer.  The summer months of June through September are the rainiest months.  Charter fishing opportunities in Palm Beach are numerous and range from smaller 20 -30 foot boats for inshore fishing to ultra large luxury yachts for a deep sea adventure of a lifetime.  Fishing is great year round for many species.  Sailfish and marlin are caught all year with the peak for sailfish in the winter months while marlin fishing peaks in the warmer months from April to November.  Dolphin (mahi-mahi) also peaks in the summer from March to September.  Amberjack, kingfish, tuna, and wahoo are also year round species, but their numbers drop in the warmer summer months.
