Miami Beach is an amazing place to try your hand at some sport fishing. The deep reefs and Gulf Stream waters offer great opportunities for the experienced blue water angler, or the first time novice. The deep blue waters and Gulf Stream is usually about three miles from the beach, and offers Sailfish, Shark, Dolphin, Kings, Tuna, Amberjack, Grouper, Snapper, and many more. Haulover Park Marina, where the 56’ “Spellbound” custom built sports fisherman calls home is only a ten minute ride to the fishing grounds

Capt. Jay’s Deep Sea Fishing Miami and Reel Adventure Charters had been taking customers fishing out of Miami Beach for more than twenty years. Captain Jay has been fishing the waters off shore Miami Beach for more than thirty years. Our primary goal is for our customers to have a great time and a lot of fun with us. Not only are we kid friendly, but encourage our customers to bring their children and introduce them to the great world of sport fishing.

We have fished many tournaments over the years and won a few and placed in many. We currently hold a few IGFA records, although our most favorite accomplishment was the discovery of a new species of Tile Fish. Some of the highlights of our best catches are a 1,200lb Tiger Shark, a 600lb Blue Marlin on 20lb line, a 750lb Big Eye Thresher Shark, 51 lb Gag Grouper, and just too many to list.

The Spellbound is a 56’ custom built sports fisherman loaded with all the comforts of home. Twin diesel powered, generator at sea provides A/C and power for all of our accessories (flat screen TV, Sat TV, DVD, and many more). We are sponsored by SIMRAD marine electronics and have the latest and greatest fish finding, navigation, and safety equipment available.
