We have been fortunate the past 28 years to live in such a beautiful place and fish for our living. A lifestyle we enjoy sharing with fellow anglers from serious, experienced, hard-core fishermen to novice, fun seeking beginners, we welcome all young and old.We run a multi-dimensional operation consisting of a variety of fishing styles and hunting grounds... offshore, reef, wreck, calm water, backcountry and everglades.

About Us

Capt. George Clark Sr. was an avid salmon and trout fisherman in Northern Michigan before visiting the Florida Keys in 1973. Hearing wonderful fishing stories from his father who fished keys waters in the 50’s Capt. Sr. had to investigate the attraction to the Florida Keys. In the winter of 1973 George Sr. brought his wife and son to Key Largo where he quickly began scoping the surroundings in search of the fight. George Sr. had spent plenty of time hunting fresh water fish including pike and musky and was soon attracted to stalking a large barracuda. Once Sr. had found and caught several big cuda’s in the shallows he turned his attention to other game fish. This required a boat to get him out deep where these giants lived. Within several years of catching and crossing species off of a long list, Capt. George Sr. knew that the Keys were the right place to pursue yet another fishing career. Captain George Clark Sr. was a former Navy man and loved the seas and passed his passion of the sea on to his young son George Jr. The two fished tirelessly for many years loving and learning the waters off the Florida coast. When George Jr. was old enough he followed in his fathers shoes and sought work on local party boats and then progressed to sport fishing vessels as an accomplished mate. After a brief stint Capt. George Jr. and Sr. formed Rodeo Fishing Charters in Key Largo. Charter fishing was a great way for the father son team to meet some great people from all over and introduce them to real Keys fishing.

The duo also purchased a commercial fishing business and caught and sold their catch during the Keys off tourist season. Eventually the charter business took over and preceded the commercial side of things and both men filled their calendar with bookings. Today Rodeo Fishing Charters is running strong and offers one of the widest ranges of fishing opportunities to fishermen in South Florida. They have some great fishing packages year round and always produce.
