Venice Fishing ChartersWelcome to Super StrikeSuper Strike Charters fishing in the northern Gulf of Mexico. Our boats leave out of the Venice Marina which is in the small town of Venice, Louisiana. Venice is a very unique place because it is the home to one of the last true fishing ports in America. Ninety Percent of the residents of Venice are Commercial Fisherman, Shrimpers, and Oysterman. It is a small town with nothing to do except fish or hunt. So, if you are looking for some of the best fishing in the World. Venice is the place. However, Venice is located only 70 miles from New Orleans so if you are looking to take a family vacation, night life, or dine in famous restaurants in the French Quarter, those spots are just an hour away from Venice. We have 3 boats to choose from for your day of offshore fishing. They are catamaran style hulls which are the most comfortable boats to fish out of for long periods of time. The cat hulls make riding thru choppy seas much smoother than the traditional V-Hull. When it comes to being stable, there is no boat as stable as the Twin-Vee. With the 12ft. beams there is almost no rocking and pitching while trolling the Mississippi Canyon or at anchor on the famous midnight lump. The fishing out of Venice, La. offers a wide variety of species to fish for and we fish for all of them. The Captains that work for Super Strike Charters were born and raised in Louisiana. All of them started fishing when they were old enough to hold a fishing pole. Capt. Josh Bodenheimer is a USCG Certified Captain and has been fishing the Venice area for about 6 years. Capt. Bob Kenney is a third generation Charter Boat Captain who has now been full time in the charter business for 9 years. Capt. Damon McKnight is the owner and also one of the Captains that will be taking you out for a fishing adventure of a lifetime. Our accomplishments in the fishing community are hard to beat which only shows how dedicated we are to saltwater fishing. We have done articles or were featured in every national saltwater sportfishing magazine and have done T.V. shows with ESPN Outdoors.
