Captain Tom Kane of T-Kat Fishing Charters has over 25 years of experience in sport fishing and the ability to successfully lead both beginning and advanced fishermen to catch snappers, kingfish, groupers, tarpon, tuna, cobia and barracuda.

When you choose T-Kat Fishing Charters, you will ride on a 31' vessel that is quick and comfortable. On board the vessel you will find specially tailored rods and reels, the best quality electronics, and a spacious fishing area that can accommodate six people and a trained crew. Included in the pricing is any necessary licensing, bait, coolers and ice that you may need to maintain the freshness of fish.

About Our Charter Boat

T-Kat Fishing Charters features the T-Kat, a 31' fishing vessel with a 315 horsepower engine capable of going 26 miles per hour when cruising. The K-Kate, as mentioned above, can accommodate up to six fishermen, captain and crew. On board the vessel you will find DPS, sonar, loran, VHF radio, cellular phone and medical safety kits in case an emergency arises. The front of the T-Kat is fully enclosed and offers plenty of storage space to keep your personal property safe and dry.

About the Captain

Captain Tom Kane of T-Kat Fishing Charters is a native of Pinellas Suncoast with more than 25 years experience fishing the nearby waters. You can rely on Captain Tom to know what fish are biting, how far away and in what depth of water these fish reside, and the correct bait to use. Captain Tom is licensed by the U.S.C.G. and he and his crew have won many Suncoast fishing tournaments along with attaining a high ranking at several other local and regional tournaments.

Fishing Packages and Rates

The following packages are offered by T-Kat Fishing Charters:

• 4 hour (1/2 day) trips for $500;
• hour (3/4 day) trips for $700;
• hour (full day) trips for $900;
• Specialty Trips (up to 10 hours) for $1,200.

The rates above do not include a suggested 10% or more (of the total charter rate) tip for the mate. This tip is to ensure skilled and reliable mates, which are hard to come by everyday.
