Chesapeake Bay Charter Fishing Whether you're an experienced angler or a novice who's never even baited a hook before, Time Off Charters will provide a fun-filled day of fishing for some regional favorites. In a place like Chesapeake, where fresh water meets salt water on a massive scale, there are always lots of fish. You have the open expanse of the Bay on one hand and the twin rivers, the Potomac and the Patuxent, on the other. Wherever your fishing trip takes you, Captain Dale can put you on the fish using the knowledge and experience of a long-time, born and bred native of the area. There are lots of target species for Solomon Island fishermen, and the popularity of each one may vary depending on the season. Get ready to fill the boat with Speckled and Gray Trout, Flounder, Striper and Spanish Mackerel. Rates start at $200 for a 2 hour harbor cruise. A five hour trip is $400 for the Time Off and $500 for the Yukon Jack. Eight hour trips are also available, at $575 and $625. Bring a camera, a cooler and/or plastic bags to transport your catch; fish cleaning is also available upon request. Don't forget drinks and snacks, and be sure to pack sunscreen and any other weather-relevant items.
